John had spent the past 20+ years amassing an impressive collection of Edwardian and American (World War I) military posters.  He had also devoted his energy and enthusiasm in completing a comprehensive monograph to accompany such a collection.  Earlier this year, John made the decision to donate his World War I poster collection to the National World War I Museum and Memorial, which had also agreed to publish his monograph. In support of John's effort, we would like you to consider a gift in his memory to the National World War I Museum and Memorial's Special Collections Initiative in lieu of flowers.  Thank you.
